Start-ups get a boost with Newcastle’s first Clean Tech & Smart Cities co-working space

Eighteen04, a smart cities and clean tech co-working space for tech startups and scale-ups will be launched TODAY, December 16, at Foghorn Brewhouse, at 5.30pm.

Hosted at the CSIRO Energy Centre in Mayfield West, and with generous support from Newcastle City Council, five tech enterprises have taken up residence working across a range of areas including plug-and-play battery storage solutions, smart waste recycling, smart cities traffic management solutions and waste heat sourced electricity generation.

WELCOME to the first Eighteen04 newsletter. It is an exciting time for start-ups, an exciting time for the renewal of the City of Newcastle and an exciting time for Smart Cities and CleanTech in Australia.
